Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.01.2026)

1. Educational Qualification

• Development Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates).

• Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects and a minimum of 50% marks.

• Computer Knowledge: Knowledge of word processing on a PC is mandatory for both posts.

2. Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 Years

• Maximum: 35 Years

• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three major stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Online): Objective test covering English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.

2. Main Examination (Online): Objective and Descriptive test. Final merit is based on Mains marks.

3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must be proficient in the official local language of the state they are applying for.
