Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Geologist: Master’s degree in Geological Science/Geology/Applied Geology.

  • Geophysicist: M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Geophysics.

  • Chemist: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

  • Minimum: 21 Years

  • Maximum: 32 Years

  • Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD.

Selection Process

The exam consists of three successive stages:

  1. Stage I: Preliminary Exam (Objective type, 400 Marks)

  2. Stage II: Main Examination (Descriptive type, 600 Marks)

  3. Stage III: Personality Test/Interview (200 Marks)
