Geologist: Master’s degree in Geological Science/Geology/Applied Geology.
Geophysicist: M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Geophysics.
Chemist: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.
Minimum: 21 Years
Maximum: 32 Years
Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD.
The exam consists of three successive stages:
Stage I: Preliminary Exam (Objective type, 400 Marks)
Stage II: Main Examination (Descriptive type, 600 Marks)
Stage III: Personality Test/Interview (200 Marks)
The Prelims exam will be conducted in two sessions. Entry to the venue closes 30 minutes before the commencement of each session.
